Buisness End For Early Season On The Trent....
Well its June 19th and I finally have a free evening to
head out onto the Tidal Trent. This will be the first session I have had
on the Trent using the Hookbait Company's boilies, pellets, pastes,
gloop, flakeys and to say I am itching to get out on the bank is an
under statement.
With such a wide range of flavours to choose from I have pin pointed 2 flavours that I am going to run with for the beginning of the season- Spicy Meat Pro and 3B.
Spicy Meat Pro
Packed with protein and as the name suggests the bait is really rich and meaty, infused with highly attractive blend of oils and spices. In water the bait lets of a steady stream of attractants creating a haze around the bait.

Packed with milk, fish and meat proteins which are further enhanced with three natural stimulants, blended with low temperature fish meals and haemoglobin with more than a healthy measure of robin red and belachan to give this bait a rounded profile. Incorporated natural food items such as fresh water shrimps, bloodworm and krill are also present in this bait giving it the crunch factor.
In terms of bait profile I will be mainly using glugged 12mm chops and flakeys at the business end of the rig, though feeding a variety of pellets, crushed and broken boilies and the Hookbait Company ground bait to accompany these.
In addition to my standard approach I will also be trying to adapt it slightly to see if I can pick up a few bigger fish, this is where the 'donkey chokers' come into play- 30mm chops...Go big or go home!
